NOTES

My roots are in Indiana, traveling to 49 states, 15 countries, and 3 continents. Always noting that “We are more alike than different,” #WeAreMoreAlikeThanDifferent I have lived in seven states from California to Massachusetts, selling my work for three decades.

My earliest love was the graphite landscape. Then progressing through oil abstracts (Creating wall-size murals that sold internationally.), acrylic, watercolor, medical illustration using digital renderings and then gouache. In 2018 I started working in miniature watercolor and gouache landscapes and abstracts capturing moments from life and travel.

Creating a cohesive work that speaks to the viewer on an intimate level brings me great joy. Art will always hold it’s space, regardless of the size, medium or subject matter.

Kimberly Jackson was born blind in Indiana, and continues today as Legally Blind, where her parents were advised to, “Put her in an asylum for the blind and move on with your life.” Gratefully, they chose otherwise! Kimberly now lives in St. George Utah, with her ‘perfect’ husband and children.
